This October, a handful of the UK’s chef talent will team up for a takeover of The Wilderness restaurant in Birmingham.
The Women In Hospitality Charity Dinner on 30th October will see chefs, bartenders and sommeliers host a special lunch to celebrate women in the hospitality industry, all whilst raising vital funds for two charities: Anawim, Birmingham’s Centre for Women and The Burnt Chef Project, which helps to fight mental health stigma within the hospitality trade.
The lunch commences with two cocktails, followed by three courses paired with complimenting wines. The set menu begins with an arrival cocktail, before guests enjoy snacks, three courses, three paired wines, petit fours and a digestif cocktail.
The cocktails will be provided by Katie Rouse of Couch, a Stirchley cocktail bar named one of the UK’s top 50, and Eve Green of Passing Fancies, a Digbeth-based cocktail bar headed up by an award-winning trio.
“I am over the moon to share the news that we will be taking over The Wilderness on 30th October for the Women In Hospitality Charity Dinner. We will be raising funds in aid of Anawim and The Burnt Chef Project, two charities which provide amazing support to women in Birmingham and within the hospitality industry. It is so special that we are able to bring this incredible line-up of women together for this dinner. If you are interested in booking, then please run, don’t walk!”
